Etienne's Game of the Week
Quest for El Dorado is my favorite deck-building.
The game puts you in the shoes of an explorer trying to reach El Dorado before his rivals. Explained in about 5 minutes and suited for experts or children, Quest for El Dorado is a race through the jungle where the games are always exciting and tight. Everyone starts the game with the same 8 cards and, as the game evolves, you'll have to buy more cards. It's a race through the jungle, but also to buy the best available cards.
In the basic game (which retails for less than $35), you will find a dozen different races divided by difficulty (easy, medium, difficult). The replayability is excellent! The different races vary a lot: long deserts, cold seas or watertight forests.
In addition, an extension has been announced and will be released in 2018. The details remain to come, but you KNOW I'll buy it as soon as it comes out!
