Review: Andres' Game of the Month (March 2018)

The type of games I enjoy the most is usually euro strategy games, so when I got Rising Sun, I didn’t have high expectations. At first, I was really intimidated by the massive amounts of miniatures. However, by the time I was done reading the rules, I knew this game would be a very good fit for my gaming group. 

The game offers you many different paths to follow, and just as many ways to earn victory points. My favorite way: War – I just enjoy figuring out the outcome of each battle and the importance of timing your resources. Without a doubt, Rising Sun is one of the most interesting board game experience I had this month and I am looking forward to trying it with more in the future. I would recommend to play it at least with 4 players.
